Description
Caddis larvae are grub like creatures which for up two 2 years inhabit rocky shoals and weed beds along the lake bottom. The larva uses local materials like weeds, pebbles and wood debris to form a protective casing around its worm like body, in which it tows along with their long front legs as they forage along the bottom. Trout can not resist these plump morsels and eagerly search them out for a quick meal, eating them casing & all! Available in one size and two popular colour schemes the Caddi Melt is a flyguys original and our go to cased caddis larva fly pattern! Limited quantities so get em while they’re here …
